DIET
FOOD PROJECT
Diet Foods - Food
Supplements |
| |
Who has not
ever had the temptation to acquire a slimming
product or a dietetic integrator? Who
has never drunk an enriched drink of vitamins
or knows them mineral? The callback of
one? Simple solution to problems that
would impose to us a rigorously controlled
regimen of feeding is strongly for all?
Why often eat outside of the house and
it is difficult to follow one healthy
and complete diet. Because some foods
are more attractive and tasty, too difficult
to resist, they make us fat, or unhappy
or...
And then via to the supplies: bar food,
substitutive of the meal in order to become
thin, vitamins and as we know, mineral
in order to make up for energy and work
and... That way we are attached in the
fast-food, the proteins and amino acids
that excist in them, in order to help
us make leaven muscles.
The consumption of alimentary integrators
and dietetic products grows incredibly
to rhythms elevates to you: the more common
consideration that the consumers make,
in front of the promise of miraculous
effects that occur between the pages of
newspapers or on the shelves of the storees,
is that if also only 30% of those effects
could be obtained, it would be already
a lot. Therefore, this guide is born thinking
next to the young, that they today construct
their style of life and have need of valid
elements in order to consider objective
what the publicity and diffuse metropolitan
legends stretch some are over estimated.
The hope is that a rigorous information
and some practical council can help them
to make good use, if indeed of this what
they realy need, of the alimentary integrators
and the dietetic products.
Our traditional Mediterranean, rich diet
of carbohydrates and cooked and raw verdure,
yields and oil of olive, considered all
over the world like an example of complete
feeding, heals and able to prevent cardiovascular
obesities and diseases, it goes disappearing
in favor preparations decidedly more similar
to fast food the American who to the manicaretti
of the grandmother.
As much as the level of culture, information
and knowledge of the consumers fortunately
grows and hopefully soon they will be
ready to choose safely. |

EUROTOUR
EuroTour
was designed with the tourism industry
in mind. Each year, Greece attracts tourists
from all over Europe and the rest of the
world. Because of this a concrete training
program on Euro had to be implemented,
thus the birth of Euro Tour. The main
objective is to train and educate hotel
owners, staff and management on how Euro
will affect their business as a whole.
Various applications such as videotapes,
theatrical productions, and general informative
material are being used to train and prepare
the tourism sector for the upcoming integration
of Euro. Euro Tour will be implemented
with the cooperation of Italy, Spain and

 |
T.R.E.A.D.
The T.R.E.A.D.
(Training, Research and Education Against
Doping) program is committed through its
educational conferences to bring together
all those involved and concerned with
sports and physical education in order
to raise awareness that doping has become
a significant public health problem, and
to prevent the spreading of such to countries
and regions hitherto unaffected by the
problem.
T.R.E.A.D. will compliment
other existing anti-doping programs, however
we aim to provide additional information
and statistics on doping, updated material
on the medical aspect and teach drug resistance
skills to athletes. |

 |
H.A.N.D.S.
HANDS (Higher Awareness
Needs for Doping in Sport) is committed
to fair and ethical public awareness approaches
through the promotion of drug free sport,
equity, fair play, safety and non-violence.
We work closely with sport
organizations, athletes, coaches and others
to promote and strengthen the positive
values and rewarding experiences of sport.
In order to reduce the misuse of drugs
especially amongst the young athletes,
there is a greater need for public awareness.
To facilitate this, the
need for publicity regarding the effects
of drugs, the offences and the offenders
should be made more publicly available.
Prevention is the single most important
investment for long term success in achieving
and maintaining drug free sport. By promoting
the inherent values in sport HANDS will
create an environment where using performance-enhancing
substances and practices become unacceptable
in sport.
The most important
mandate of HANDS is to raise public awareness
regarding doping in sport. We will fulfill
this mandate through a comprehensive approach
involving research, education and advocacy.

|
 |
S.H.A.R.Å.
The
overall purpose of the S.H.A.R.E. (Supporting
Harmonic Awareness Regarding Equality)
project is the protection and promotion
of equal rights of both men and women
in the work force. In order to respond
effectively to the impact equality issues
have on both sexes education is the key
target.
S.H.A.R.E has incorporated
methods to transform existing knowledge
and skills for a more harmonic balancing
of gender hierarchy.
Our plans for the
future include reaching out to young men
and women in universities and high schools
for proper education on equal opportunities.
This will result in the circulation of
equality information and fully integrate
our young audience into leadership and
positive future career decision-making.

SAFERINTERNET |
| |
The safe use of internet
is not only depended on the installing
of filtering programs on clients or servers
that provide their services, or the use
of restraining mesures as far as the content
is concerned. Safer Internet means, that
the internet provides its users (who can
be parents, teachers, teenagers, young
children, local authorities and librarians)
a powerful tool to better know the world
wide web and live better in it.
However, in order to achieve
that, we need to build upon a proper social
and educational understanding of the internet,
consecrating a culture that protects personal
rights providing, at the same time, freedom
of communication. While we have sanctioned
procedures for the proper use of literal
knowledge, the speed and broadness of
new means provide also new technologies.
The main aim of SaferInternet
project is the cooperation with Ministries
who have shown interest, and the creation
and dissemination of information and advices
regarding the educational and social possibilities
and effects of internet, via multiple
language channels. The project is focused
on up-to-date material, initiatives and
exambles of good practices on the use
of internet as mean of knowledge and life.
