order to carry out our mission, E.KAT.O will pursue
excellence in achieving the following objectives:
- To promote the exchange of
ideas, expertise and opinions relevant to
consumer affairs.
- To develop and encourage high
standards of performance by those engaged
in the consumer affairs profession.
- To conduct, encourage and
coordinate meetings, conferences, seminars
and workshops for the professional development
of members.
- To serve as a clearing house
for consumer affairs data and information.
- To encourage liaison among
consumers, educators, business, government
and the media.
- To assist in the development
of educational programs for consumers.
- To aid Consumer Affairs Professionals
in business to anticipate, recognize and respond
to consumer needs, desires and expectations.
